Important information about card deposits
If a deposit doesn't complete, it may be because your card issuer applies its own authorisation rules. Some banks restrict international (cross-border) transactions as part of their standard card policy. Where this applies, a deposit may not be approved even though your card is valid and funds are available.
This is a decision made by your bank and isn't related to your account with us.
What you can do:
Select or add a different card in your Apple Pay or Google Pay wallet and try again.
Check with your bank whether international transactions are enabled on your card.
Use one of the alternative deposit methods available in the Cashier.

Note: PCA-219 and prepaid card limits: If you see this error and no "Information Required" banner appears on your account, no verification is needed. This means you have reached the regulatory limit of $250 CAD per week for vouchers and prepaid debit cards. Use a standard debit or choose an alternative payment method.

From the top menu, click on Deposit.
Select the Visa/Mastercard icon.
Enter your card details.
Make a deposit to register the card.
Tick the box to confirm you are the owner of the payment method.
Click Deposit to complete the process.
Important:
Payment methods should be in your own name to keep everything safe and smooth.
For your security, you’ll be asked to enter your CVV number each time you use a registered card.
Deposit limits shown are default values and may differ from your personal limits.
